Piedmont in Color: A New Look at Old Photos

I’ve fallen a bit behind on posting lately as I wrap up my master’s degree to eventually become a librarian—but behind the scenes, I’ve been busier than ever. I'm still collecting and growing my massive archive of Piedmont and Bay Area history even though there have not been a lot of updates to this site.

I’ve also been experimenting with colorizing historic photographs. Colorized images can raise questions about authenticity and historical accuracy, but for some, they offer another way to connect with the past and bring these moments to life.
